"The women who work here are all so understanding and caring. That's what mattered most to me."
—Aradia Client

Back to Well-Woman Care.

We offer free pregnancy testing to all of our clients.

If you come to Aradia for a pregnancy test, first a urine sample is taken and tested for human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG), a hormone your body secretes when you are pregnant. We will be able to tell you in five minutes whether your pregnancy test is positive or negative.

Several factors can cause the urine test to be inaccurate. Some of the reasons for false negative tests are: too far or too early in a pregnancy, urine which is too diluted, an interfering medication, certain health conditions or an error in reading the test. Some of the reasons for false positive tests are: a recent pregnancy (less than 21 days after abortion or birth), any interfering medications, recreational drug use, premature menopause or an error in reading the test. Although problems associated with the pregnancy test are unusual, it is important to understand that false results sometimes can occur.

Aradia feels confident about the quality of the pregnancy test used here and the skill of the staff performing the test. Please call ahead of time to schedule an appointment.
